Google Business Profile for law firms in Lansing: what clients see before they call.
Most people looking for a lawyer in Lansing see your Google listing before your website: the category, your hours, your reviews and whether anyone answered them. I fix law firm listings once and keep them current, with review requests and replies written around your confidentiality duties. You keep ownership; I work on the listing as a Manager, never as the Owner.
Free Google scorecard. Tune-Up $399 once. Review Engine $99 a month. Local Presence Care $149 a month.

How it works
How does Google Business Profile help work for a law firm?
01
Scorecard
Type your firm’s name on the scorecard page and the result is on screen in about ten seconds: your categories, hours, rating, your review count against the three firms Google shows first, and whether a potential client can tap to call from your website. The full assessment is read by a person, not just a tool. It touches nothing and commits you to nothing.
02
Tune-Up
Everything the scorecard flagged, fixed once: categories, services, description, hours, photos, questions and answers, and a reply to every review already sitting there. $399, done within a week, and you keep ownership of the listing. I work as a Manager on it, never as the Owner.
03
Keep it running
Local Presence Care, $149 a month: a review request after every closed matter, replies drafted by AI in your voice and approved by you before anything posts, four Google posts a month, and a receipt on the 1st.
The law firm part
What is different about a law firm’s Google Business Profile?
Three things. Categories are specific: “Family law attorney”, “Estate planning attorney” or “Personal injury attorney” reach different searches than plain “Lawyer”. Google allows attorneys to have their own listings alongside the firm’s, and those should use the same firm name, address and phone. And review replies are public statements, so they thank people without confirming anything about a matter.
The ABA has cautioned lawyers against revealing client information when they answer online reviews (Formal Opinion 496), and Google posts are advertising like the rest of your marketing. I draft replies and posts with that in mind, and nothing posts without your approval.
What you get
What does Zomtronics do for a law firm’s Google listing?
Your Google listing, working
Someone searching at 9pm after an accident or a hard week sees a listing with current hours, the right practice area, real photos of the office and a reply under every review. That is what gets the call before the firm down the street does.
Review requests after every closed matter
Every client is asked once, politely, when the matter wraps up. No gating, no incentives, and you choose the timing that fits your practice. Reviews are what potential clients read before they call.
Replies and posts, in your voice
Every review gets a reply drafted by AI and approved by you before it posts, written so it never confirms anything about a client’s matter. Four posts a month keep the listing current without anyone at the firm writing them.
What the free scorecard checks
Two groups, each line marked OK, CHECK or FIX: your Google listing (categories, hours, photos, rating, and review count against the three businesses Google shows first) and your website (secure connection, a tap-to-call number at the top, the phone matching the listing, page title and business details). Run your scorecard.

Questions
Questions, answered plainly.
What does Google Business Profile help cost for a law firm?
The Google scorecard is free. The Tune-Up is $399, once. The Review Engine is $99 a month on its own, or $149 a month as Local Presence Care with replies, posts and a receipt. Every price is published before we ever talk.
Should each attorney have their own Google listing?
Google allows individual practitioners, attorneys included, to have their own profile alongside the firm’s. It can help when clients search for a lawyer by name, but each listing needs the same firm name, address and phone, and a solo practitioner usually does best with a single listing. The scorecard shows what you have now and what I would change.
I am not technical. Who runs this after you set it up?
I do. The listing and the review requests stay in your name; I hold Manager access, never ownership, and a receipt on the 1st shows what was done.
Who is this probably NOT for?
If you enjoy tinkering with your own website, want a site built once with no maintenance behind it, need a large agency team on call, or are shopping on price alone, I am probably not the right fit. I work best with owners who want the technology handled, honestly, by one accountable person.
