Google Business Profile suspended: what it means, what to check, and how to appeal.
A suspension means Google decided the profile breaks its guidelines. Read the notice, fix what breaks the rules, then file an appeal through Google’s Business Profile appeals tool with documents that show the business name and address, such as a business registration, license or utility bill. Do not create a new profile for the same business. Google says appeals can only be submitted once and emails you the decision. Below: the usual causes, the appeal step by step, and what to avoid.
Want help with it? I check the profile against Google’s guidelines, fix what breaks them and prepare the appeal with you, as part of the Tune-Up, $399 once. Only Google decides an appeal, so I never promise the result.

Step by step
How do you appeal a suspended Google Business Profile?
01
Read the notice and find the cause
Sign in to the account that manages the profile and read exactly what Google says. Common causes include a business name with extra keywords or town names in it, an address customers are not served at, a virtual office or mailbox used as the address, a second profile for the same business, or a recent change of name or address.
02
Fix it before you appeal
Change the name back to the one on your signs and paperwork, remove an address customers do not visit and set a service area instead, and remove any duplicate you created. An appeal that asks Google to look again at a profile that still breaks the rules gives the reviewer an easy no, and appeals can only be submitted once.
03
Appeal with matching proof
Open the Business Profile appeals tool, sign in with the account linked to the profile, choose the profile and the decision you are appealing, and attach evidence such as a business registration, license, tax certificate or utility bill. Google asks that the name and address on those documents match the profile. If the whole account is restricted, appeal the account first, then the profile.
What to avoid
What should you never do when your Google Business Profile is suspended?
Do not create a new profile for the same business; Google says so directly, and a second profile adds a duplicate problem to the suspension. Do not pay anyone who promises reinstatement or a guaranteed result. Nobody outside Google decides an appeal.
Do not rush the appeal with documents that do not match. A license under an older name, an address that differs from the profile, or a sign that says something else gives the reviewer a reason to refuse. If a request is denied, Google says it may be able to do an additional review, so keep every document and the date you sent it.
What you get
How does Zomtronics help with a suspended Google Business Profile?
The cause found
We look at the profile together on a short call. I read the notice, compare the profile with Google’s guidelines line by line, and tell you plainly what most likely caused the suspension and what has to change before an appeal.
The appeal prepared with you
In the Tune-Up, $399 once, I fix the name, address, service area and categories, and help you gather documents whose name and address match. You file the appeal from your own account, so nothing about ownership changes.
Set up so it stays clean
Once the profile is back, Local Presence Care, $149 a month, keeps it current with posts, review replies and a receipt on the 1st, and I flag any edit that could cause trouble before it is made. Listings Sync matches the same name and address everywhere else.
What the free scorecard checks
Two groups, each line marked OK, CHECK or FIX: your Google listing (categories, hours, photos, rating, and review count against the three businesses Google shows first) and your website (secure connection, a tap-to-call number at the top, the phone matching the listing, page title and business details). Run your scorecard.

Questions
Questions, answered plainly.
How long does a Google Business Profile suspension appeal take?
Google does not publish a timeline. It reviews the appeal and sends the decision by email. After a profile is reinstated, it can take a few days to a few weeks to show normally in search again.
Why was my Google Business Profile suspended for no reason?
There is usually a reason in Google’s guidelines, even when the notice is short. The common ones are a name with extra words in it, an address customers do not visit, a duplicate profile, or a recent change of name or address. Compare each part of the profile with the guidelines before you appeal.
Can I just make a new Google Business Profile instead?
No. Google says not to create a new Business Profile for the same business. A new one starts with no reviews, and a second profile for a business that already has one is exactly what Google treats as a duplicate.
What does it cost to have Zomtronics help with a suspension?
The first look, on a 20-minute call, is free. Fixing the profile and preparing the appeal is part of the Tune-Up, $399 once. I will not promise reinstatement, because only Google decides that. Every price is published before we ever talk.
